Before starting this brand, I worked in Apparel Technical Design for companies like Joe’s Jeans and Lucky Brand. That role trained my eye to spot every little detail in a garment—the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty. And while shopping for my own children, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed by the lack of quality in much of the baby and children’s clothing available.

That realization sparked the idea for Luna + Luca: a line of baby and children’s clothing made with care, using only the softest, highest-quality fabrics and designed to be just as practical as they are beautiful.

And the name? Surprisingly, my kids aren’t actually named Luna or Luca. Those were two of my favorite baby names that didn’t quite make the cut with my husband 😉 So instead, they became the perfect names for this little dream of mine.
